Connect klo to your agent

Use this endpoint in an agent that supports remote MCP: https://mcp.getklo.com/mcp. OAuth clients ask you to sign in with Google; edits use your klo credits. Client availability and attachment support vary.

Claude (web, desktop, mobile)

  1. Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Name klo, URL https://mcp.getklo.com/mcp. Leave client id and secret empty (klo registers Claude itself).
  3. Add → Connect → Continue with Google.

Tool calls may run up to about 4 minutes; longer edits continue as jobs you poll with get_job.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http klo https://mcp.getklo.com/mcp

Then /mcp → klo → sign in. Pass sync: true to long tools when you would rather wait than poll.

ChatGPT (web)

  1. Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced → turn on Developer mode.
  2. Open chatgpt.com/plugins → Create.
  3. Name klo, MCP server URL https://mcp.getklo.com/mcp, Authentication OAuth (leave client id/secret empty). Create → sign in with Google.
  4. In a chat, pick klo under Apps, attach a clip, and say what you want.

ChatGPT stops a tool call at about 60 s; klo hands back a job id and the finished result comes from get_job.

Muse

Paste this message to Muse; it creates the connector and sends you a sign-in link:

Finish Google sign-in in the browser tab Muse opens, then return to the chat.

Poke

Add klo to Poke

Poke registers itself and opens Google sign-in; klo keeps your Poke user id on each call for support.

Perplexity

  1. Settings → Connectors → Add connector → Custom / MCP.
  2. Name klo, server URL https://mcp.getklo.com/mcp, authentication OAuth (dynamic registration). Save → sign in.

Grok

  1. Plugins → New Connector → Custom.
  2. URL https://mcp.getklo.com/mcp, OAuth. Connect → sign in.

Manus

Manus connects with a bearer key rather than OAuth. Sign in once from any other agent using OAuth, then create a key:

Gemini-based agents

Use an MCP-capable client or SDK with https://mcp.getklo.com/mcp and OAuth. A custom connector in the consumer Gemini app has not been verified.

Your first edit

  1. Connect your Klo account, then attach the original videos or give your agent downloadable links.
  2. Ask: “Make a polished 20-second film from these clips. Warm the color, add a restrained animated title, preserve natural audio, and export 1080p.”
  3. The agent imports the files, starts the edit, checks job progress, and returns a playable download. Continue in the same project to revise it.

Public YouTube/Vimeo links work when the source permits cloud downloading. Private or blocked videos need an original upload. A client must expose attachment bytes or downloadable URLs; mentioning a local filename alone does not upload it.

Compatibility

Cloud supports footage editing, grading, audio mixing, and Remotion rendering. Desktop-only controls and some native motion effects differ. A compatible MCP protocol does not by itself prove attachment support in every agent. Instinct’s custom-connector route is not yet verified.

Scripts and other agents

Any MCP client that speaks Streamable HTTP + OAuth 2.1 works: it will find https://mcp.getklo.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource from the 401 and register itself. For headless use send a klo API key as Authorization: Bearer klo_sk_….
